scratch disk tutorial

Step 1: Open final cut pro, file-new project. If the layout looks incomplete or some windows are missing then on the tool bar of options and the top of the screen click windows-arrange-standard.

 Step 2: Save the project in Macintosh HD2, in your preferable folder or create a new one.

 Step 3: click final cut pro and then click system setting and set ALL cache and vault options to your folder.

Step 4:
Log and transfer your files from your SD card on to your folder in Macintosh HD2. Then import them into your final cut project
Step 5: once your video has been added to your sequence double click to watch and then to only choose a clip you desire double click the video and press 'i' for input and 'o' for output and drag the video into the sequence line at the bottom or into the last window.
And finally, have fun with it!
