I felt the opposition team's ident was irrelevant as it had nothing to do with what may be shown on next and the channels symbol. Their ident was boring too, it had nothing compelling or exciting about it, if I was passing through BBC2, I would change and not even consider staying tuned in to watch all of it. It's unnecessary and has nothing to do with anything really, it's abstract and has no significance. Whereas BBC1 have carried out this tradition in the ident for many years which is to have a world representation, a globe or a formation of an 'O' which signifies the world. BBC1 is the most superior out of the other BBC channels as there are translated dubbed version of this in other countries, which shows just how much people enjoy this channel and it's programming.
