·       Fashion Vox Pox Concept

 

Fashion Vox Pox is introducing the latest fashion trends throughout London. It focuses around street fashion and relevant trends.  We’ll be interviewing people about their thoughts on what’s trending right now and their general thoughts about fashion.  The overall purpose of Fashion Vox Pox is to see the relevant between street fashion and catwalk, and also to see how street fashion is adapted from Catwalk.

The Idea

 

·       Filming a photographer taking pictures of random people from of the street.

·       Voice over- (filming Oxford Street, Carnaby Street and different shops)

·       1 question will be transitioned through all the people being interviewed (e.g. four question and four shots per question)

·       Interviewing someone with a strong passion for fashion.

·        Background music- preferably instrumental (Azelia banks 212 instrumental)

 

Script

 

“Hi I’m Aminah and today we’re heading off to Oxford Street and City of Westminster College to as what they think about the fashion trends of 2012.”

 

Voice Over by Doran: “ Fashion Vox Pox bringing the latest fashion trends in the heart of the UK that is London. London has been graced by many forward celebrities, models, have graced London and muses with the likes of Rihanna setting the fashion world alight with her fresh vintage style of bags of personality. Soon to have her own collection in River Island, we expect greater things to come.”

 

·       Who’s your style icon? What celebrity do you feel are trendsetters?

·       What do you think are wardrobe essentials?

·       What shops do you feel cater all people?

·       What trends do you like/enjoy?

·       What trends do you dislike?

·       What trends do you want to make a fashion comeback?

 

·       How do you feel about people trying so hard to look different and end up looking the same?

 

We chose these questions because we want to get opinions from different sets of people about fashion and thought Oxford Street was the perfect location because they’re a variety of people passing through there and all the different shops promoting various fashion trends.

Questionnaire Analysis:

 Based on the feedback we have received from the questionnaire, it seems that the majority seem to have an interest in fashion and agree that they would want to see a fashion feature in a TV magazine show.

 The questions asked were, ‘do you have an interest in fashion?’ ‘Would you agree that fashion should be a main topic in a magazine show?’ and ‘if not, what topic would you prefer?’ and the response boxes were in yes or no format. Although the last question relating to the second one required an opinion or comment.

 2 out of the 10 people we asked opposed in wanting to have a fashion feature in a TV magazine show. However, they did seem to have a keen interest in fashion. In fact it seems as if all the responses we received said they have an interest in fashion or that it appeals to them. Which shows us just how a generic subject this is and how it is relative to everyone.

 

Through the data received we finalized our decision to do this subject for our insert and to have the context as relevant to the students of the college as possible. Also to enthuse the students and bring electivity.

 

Our target audience is students at the college City of Westminster as well as the teachers.
